Pivoting Blood Sun in a post-nuclear, post-apocalyptic environment, the work speculates a fictional arrangement of an alternate futuristic paradigm. It negotiates the hybridity of the human, and non-human and its relativity to the Peninsula.

Referencing the figure of the Malayan tiger as well as Octavia E. Butler’s narratives, Blood Sun revives their embodiment as an ungendered-hybrid-mythological-symbiote, set in an environment that contrasts to the cityscape’s intersection.
